Mr. Uppal is a well-rounded professional with over 12 years of progressive experience in retail and CPG environments. His previous experience includes working across a diverse background of industries including beverage alcohol, real estate and digital/print marketing.
Over the past 8 years Peter has worked in various roles with the largest alcohol beverage company in world. Through his previous experience has acquired expertise in sales management, sales intelligence, category management, trade marketing, customer management and leadership development.
Over the past 2 years specifically been accountable for building, leading and implementing category strategies within the liquor industry. This required alignment with the overall retailer merchandising strategy, analysis of big data, effective assortment, pricing, promotions and placement to increase profitability and efficiencies.
His experience in category management and data analysis will help Loop’s retailers use big data in a simplistic form, driving development and implementation of category/marketing plans, research of market conditions, business insights and overall industry knowledge to formulate campaigns and category initiatives.
